Jared Diamond, author of "Guns Germs and Steel" and "Collapse" will be the next speaker for Long Now's Seminars About Long Term Thinking on Friday, July 15th..The title of the talk will be "How Societies Fail (and sometimes succeed)". The lecture is at the Cowell Theater at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Coffee will be served at 7pm, the talk will be at 7:30. Admission is free. Please Note that this month's Seminar will be in the Cowell Theater, not the Conference Center, and the talk will be on the THIRD Friday of this month, not the second.
